rubbing alcohol, neat
So a couple of years ago, my then-pregnant wife went through a hypersensitive phase in which she couldn't stand the smell of ANYTHING. This included all fragrances, like aftershaves. I figured I'd try straight rubbing alcohol, and I've stuck with it ever since.
Kinda weird, right? Anybody else do the same?Last edited by northpaw; 12-11-2014 at 07:30 PM.

Seems like over time that would really dry your skin out; but...YMMV.

I haven't tried that, but a lot of the aftershaves have alcohol in it....so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I often use a mixture of witch hazel in alcohol with a little bit of glycerin added to it. Hardly any lingering scent and not quite as drying.
