Thanked: 0post shaving for sensitive skin
I have found that aftershaves and moisturisers burn my skin post shave, due to the fact I have extremely sensitive skin. My first straight razor arrives soon, so it may be because I don't shave with one yet, but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem, or knows of products that won't burn?

Join the crowd of reactionary faces. Try Nivea Sensitive After Shave Balm. Works every time. Relatively cheap in the states (almost always a coupon for $2 off in the Sunday paper). Should be generally available in England since it is a German company.

I have somewhat sensitive skin and have trouble with highly fragranced balms. A couple of options are Witch Hazel astringents or toners like Thayer's.
I am also a fan of Nivea balm. However, Trumper's skin food is the balm that actually soothes my skin the best.

Thanked: 0The south west, down in Devon. Mostly farmland but Dartmoor and Woodbury common are very good for camping!

Was asking because I have a shaving friend up north on the channel side just short of Scotland.

I'll tell ya, even in this country you tend to start localizing your movements. I live 30 miles west of Portland, OR. Haven't been in the city for close to a year lately. Good thing that SRP didn't make it a mandatory part of being a Mentor to travel to the member requesting assistance. Have a new shaver coming tomorrow. Only 20 miles drive for him. I still see my Mentor on occasion, an hours drive away.
