I have some wicked razor burn on the back of my head I know it my newbie tech but what is the best thing for the razor burn

Witch hazel and time ! Razor burn is usually from too much pressure and/or too steep of an angle. When it comes to straights, light pressure means just enought to scrape the lather off the face. The back of the head is particularly susceptible to razor burn because the curvature means having to constantly adjust the angle of the blade. It will get better with practice, though. Happy Shaving!

I have used Noxema before , it tames the burn really well, Should have mentioned that to you earlier, my bad, some use Proraso pre/post cream , but Noxema is the same thing at 1/5 the price, been around a long time healing burns and cleansing. Tc

The best prep I know of is Thayers Superhazel medicated witch hazel. It works really good for burn.
