    Default Best Moisturising Aftershave Balm

    Hi Guys,

    Ive always neglected the post shave treatment, either used aftershave or just cheap moisturiser.

    I was wondering what is generally considered the best post shave moisturising/soothing balm out there......since there is hundreds to choose from.

    Nivea sensitive is my favorite. I thought it would be unscented, but it has a nice scent to it.

    This will be a your face your liking, hard to say who's is the best, but many are quality. I myself have always liked Nivea, but am now using Institute Karrite balm, and Myrosol Milk. Both have done wonders for my after shave feel. So try as many as you can to find what works for your face. Tc

    I like Micky Lee's Italian Stalion and Prèv de Provence No. 63.

    My favorite is Sampson's All Natural AS Balm. It is beeswax based, very light scent. My go-to AS treatment.

    +1 for the Nivea.
    I usually only use the balms in the winter, and Nivea is the one I go to after day out in cold dry air. AoS also has nice balms, but the price is a little steep.

    I also like and use Nivea. A little goes a long way for me especially because I usually apply it while my face is a little wet. It seems to last forever. Actually I apply it more to my neck than anything.

    Another Nivea user. I initially thought it would be a bit greasy but it isn't at all. Soothing and nourishing I find.

    Still using Sampson's. A handful of shaves per year I use something else. My jar is almost empty; I'll be ordering a new one, and another jar of soap in a month or so. I really really like this one...

    As you can see from the posts, there are many "best" post-shave moisturizers.

    I have tried some of them. Nivea or L'oreal are good all-around ones to use. My go-to ones (work best for me) are:
    * Somerset's (from UK)
    * Myrosol Milk
    * Trumper Skin Food
    ScoutHikerDad and jmercer like this.
