Thread: What is the purpose of aftershave?

AS back in the day probably saved lives!

Phrank, I've actually thought about that before. How bad the smell would be if you travelled in time to those eras. Poor hygiene, little bathing, and people congregating in buildings without A/C. Chamber pots emptied on the street. The good ole days.

I always thought the purpose was to attact a mate.

Yup, warms the heart and reminds me of my wife's cooking.....

I miss the old Axe commericals.....even their cans used to have funny "warnings" about "unrelenting female attention and/or late nights." I saved an old can just for the warning.

A friend said "since the cool warnings disappeared the company must have been taken over by femi-nazis." I suspect soy boys is more likely.

Good thinking on the disinfectant and smell good angles! I'll have to experiment with different brands then.
