I was recently in Japan and stopped at a barber shop for a shave/haircut.
The guy in charge of the razor was fairly good, but I think he nicked me a few times, especially because of the way he used the post-shave. He was only putting it on certain areas.
But I really liked it. I asked him what it was and he showed me, but between the barber shop and home my A.D.D. got the better of me and I completely forgot the name of it.

I recall that it was a thick jelly (like vaseline) and I think it had a eucalyptis scent to it. It was probably some kind of styptic (based on observation above) and was cool feeling.

It came in a small (tin?) can. The label was white with green lettering...

That's about all I can remember. Has anyone come across this before?
