    I actually bought some from ===> Towel Emporium<===

    I bought the ===>15" x 29" Superior White (12 pack) 3.5lbs/dz = $15.95 for a dozen<===

    Now I just need to learn how to apply and fold on the face.

    I do cold water shaves now but when I used to do hot I sometimes did the hot towel thing. I like a bar towel because of the convenient size and weight. A face towel would be good too. I would wet the towel under the tap and put it in the microwave for 45 seconds. Once I had the towel hot I would crank back in a lazy boy recliner and apply the towel.

    How long to leave it in the microwave depends on your unit and on how hot you want it. When you are dialing in your preferences proceed with caution. It is easy to burn yourself if you're not careful.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    I don't know if they still have them but Classic Shaving sold 2 types of towels made for barber use. One was a simple cotton towel and the other was a terry cloth.

    Okra hand towels for $2 or $3 work fantastic too. Plenty of coverage.

    <edit> I had to leave that as is because it was too funny. Darned iPad autocorrect. I meant Ikea!

    Personally I just use a face cloth and let it soak in hot hot water, ring it out and then fold it over my face and hold it there.

    Henryjoe,

    +1 on JimmyHADs' suggestion of a bar towel.

    I find them really good as shaving towels; they are also great for removing Imperial Sizing Die Wax from cartridge cases

    Have fun !

    Best regards

    I use these. Good size and holds a surprisingly large amount of water.
