    Default scent matching?

so i just got my first scented shaving soap (mama bears british leather) and its awesome! but i was wondering, if i want to keep the scent going after my shave do i have to go ahead and get matching aftershave or balm. or is there some other way for me to keep that new boot smell through a decent part of my day?

I say go for the old fashioned English Leather AS. One of my favorites.

I'm also partial to to english leather AS, very nice indeed. As with all my aftershaves, I make my own, but I made a new batch of english leather as late as yesterday. Really a great scent.

I guess you'll just have to buy yourself a new pair of Cowboy Boots and then you'll have the real thing.

    Hello, Iowanagibson:

I, too, suggest to give English Leather a nod. Although I have not tried Mama Bear's British Leather fragrance, I assume, from the name, it is related to the traditional English Leather aftershave. I have used English Leather regularly since my early twenties — and that was way back in the XIV Century.

    Regards,

    Obie

lol. Thats definitely one solution, but that would get expensive getting new boots every day yeah the mamma bears stuff is basically her take on english leather and its really nice. The only problem is its so nice now i'm going to have to shell out more money for some after shave. That's why i was asking i was kind of sure it was a vain hope to go through post shave treatment and manage to keep the soap smell. i've been looking on line and the most common one i've seen is by Dana i'll check in the review sections to see if its any good.

With me, any scent is OK as long as its Bay Rum.
