    Default Aftershave Treatment

I use Prorasoe pre/post cream and shaving soap. I also put a dab of Proraso cream in my shaving soap. Works great! Thick wet foam! Nice straight razor shave and then after my shave...warm water, then cold water rinse. Apply Proraso pre/post cream. Then Nivea post shave balm...slight sting. Wipe off gently. Then Bay Rum...owwww...ends with a nice skin tightening finish. Ready to face the day!!! Heaven on Earth.

I also use the Proraso. A good thing.
After Shave - cold washing. Then the pre \ post cream.
In recent times often using the balm of Al. Great thing!

    Gentlemen:

After the shave my routine is as follows: alum block (rinsed off with cold water), witch hazel with aloe, aftershave balm (rotate Trumper's coral skin food, Institute Karite and Edwin Jagger) and finally aftershave of the day (rotate Spanish Leather, English Leather, Lagerfeld, Pinaud's Clubman, Woods of Windsor, Royal Copenhagen, others).

No wonder I have the Hollywood face.

We never doubted it for a second, Obie.....

Though my aftershave routine varies from shave to shave, the constants remain: cold water rinse, alum block, Skin Food and daily AS pick. Sometimes I go for the "all Proraso system" (pre/post, soap, AS), which I quite enjoy. Variety is very much the spice of life.

    Have fun,

My post shave seems pretty simple compared to all of yours. Just a cold water splash then aftershave of choice for that day.

    Nice!

I take a hot shower, Proraso soap, a little witches hazel these days on the neck, with some Balea (SD) balm.

I'm leaning towards this as an idea...but I also like Obie's routine with the rotation...
