What soap are you using? When my skin feels like it is getting dry I use a nice moisturizing soap like MWF or the new Lea stick, the Lanolin really agrees with my skin. If dry feeling after a shave, I just dab on some Nivea balm, it works well for my skin and is fairly inexpensive.

Now that warm weather is here, I'm using T&H unscented balm. In the winter, I use Razorock aftershave wax.

Tao of Man Daily Skin Defense is a good natural aftershave. My face is really sensitive, so I need a lotion, but don't like how lotion sits on my face. This product is really light and all-natural, but still keeps me moisturized and irritation free.
Also, I learned to really dry my razor after every shave to keep the blade sharp.

I have two balms on hand. One is Nivea and the other is Chrome, which the wife bought me. Both are very nice, and the only thing to justify the $40 price difference is the fragrance.

Udderly Smooth udder cream. Yes, you read correctly. WallMart has it.

A small company, although sort of well known, Korres, makes a superb moisturiser: Borage anti-shine cream for Men. Wouldn't change it for the world.
