+1 on the Nivea as others have posted. It's really good.

+1 to Nivea it's my default setting for balm. Occassionally I'll use straight aloe vera gel (for the hippy touch) or Corn Huskers Lotion (when I really want to go old school) but Nivea tops both.

Been using the Nivea for about a month now on 1OldGI's recommendation. Great stuff!

I highly recommend Kiehls "Ultimate After Shave Balm." I recently switched from AoS. the product is thicker, has a neutral/non-existent scent and my face feels nice and soft after application. Their new "Facial Fuel" is no where near as good. Happy shopping!

I tried Nivea and it's a fine product but even the unscented has a lot of scent which I found unpleasant. I replaced it with Lubriderm 3 in 1 which I vastly prefer. Corn Huskers is the poor man's Trumper skin food with a soapy, lemony scent. You can add a little of your favorite cologne and change it. It's a pretty darn good aftershave balm IMO but it is not unscented.

Rosewater and glycerin is nice and old school or you can try Lily of the Desert aloe vera 99% gel which is very healing but a bit bizarre and slimy going on.

another vote for Nivea here! the blue tin stuff in my case, also i like the body shop macca root aftershave balm. Little scent and extremely cooling, especially if you've had a bad shave and are feeling a little dry and irritated, this stuff has a BIG instant relief thing going on

I like Nivea too, but try Mama Bear's balm. She does a winter version with more moisturizers and a lighter summer version. Both come unscented.

For $2 more, she will add any of the scents from her soaps.

I just today received a bottle of her winter balm with Frankincense and Myrrh scent added. I asked her to make it extra aromatic. It is so nice. SWMBO likes it too. I ordered it Sunday afternoon and it arrived today - Wednesday.

I'm using Neutrogena these days. No smell and moisturizes ok for me.
