I recommend both the shaving cream and the aftershave lotions from Escential Oils and Lotions,
in Portland, Oregon.
Escential Lotions & Oils
Good stuff!

Thanked: 2Truefit & Hill is a good winter balm as it is rich, Aveda made a nice cream that was lightly scented but is currently out of production. Sisleyüm is for my money no better than T&H at much more € / $ / £ but if money is no object then la Mer moisturizing gel cream is the dog's nuts.

Out of curiosity, how protective is T&H's ASB? Does it last all day and is it moisturising and good enough for dry skin?

Thanked: 14Re: Unscented (or close to it) Aftershave Balm Recommendation
Another vote for Nivea Sensitive Balm here. Granted, it is the only balm i have.

Eric:
I recommend Ultimate Comfort by Truefitt & Hill, a top line unscented aftershave balm. It does wonders for the skin. Castle Forbes has a lavender aftershave balm, which I use regularly. It's an exceptional product, as everything else Castle Forbes produces. The fragrance is quite mild and the balm superb. The Art of Shaving has an unscented balm, which I find also quite good. The only problem with this balm is the small amount left on the bottom of the bottle is wasted, because you can't unscrew the cap and remove it. And, yes, Nivea Sensitive, which many gentlemen here have recommended, is a good product at a good price.

The balm I use and recommend to everyone who uses one is from the shaveplace.com - Em's After Shave Soother. You can select the unscented version as I always do. I've tried Trumpers, Truefitt, Edwin Jagger, AOS, and I can say that this balm beats them all. If it interests you, give small business in the US a shot. I think you'll like it.

I use their ASB regularly in the winter. I have dry skin and my work requires me to be in an out of doors all day. Usually, it is just what I need and is neither too much of a coating on my skin nor too short-lived. On days after I find myself out in the cold wind for a long time, Razorock after shave wax is the ultimate moisturizer and soother, but leaves a lasting layer on the skin and is not scent-free.
