Aspirin contains salicylic acid so a lot of treatments with this ingredient will help fight red bumps. It is in a lot of acne products. Incidentally, Willow Bark also contains salicylic acid. I have used the aspirin trick and did not like it. The aspirin would never completely dissolve. I guess I could have mixed it better though.

Yes, I even tried it with BC powder. Hmm, makes me think about plop plop fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is. Alka Seltzer! Anyway, might give it another try. I will say since my technique has improved, I do not need treatments as much. Also, there is a wonderful product called Combat Balm by Skincado. Kind of expensive but it does wonders.

Thanked: 0Ha Alka!..well not sure why it didnt dissolve..I'm gonna try the aspirin treatment a few more times to see if it works for me..but also will continue working on technique since I know thats the first line of defense

My friend I had the same problem, but now I lather the hell out of my face I mean a lot I load up my face with a real great lather and very lil pressure on the blade and almost put the blade flat to ur face when u shave it makes a big difference that was taught to me by one of old timers on here it cuts down so much of the Irration it's crazy good luck happy shaving!!
