Very strange, but very tastey all at the same time. First taste is good but everything after that is sour... closest this vegan man can get to McDonalds mmmmm salty lips.

I like the sting, because the cool sensation comes next, and it's a wake up call also. As good as coffee, except for the taste. Today I used a product Humphrey's Maravilla with Bay rum (Alcoholado on the label). I got it at the supermarket and it has the benefits of both. The bay rum sting and the soothing Witch Hazel. I use it instead of the regular Witch Hazel when i'm in a hurry.

Tried a new AS yesterday that really woke me up. It was the new line of WM Neumann Peppermint and Clove. Loved it!

Yeah, I'm loving the sting of Tabac AS lately. I liked the sting of Dominica too... I'd rather sting than no sting. Sting seems manly...

HOW INTERESTING AND COOL!...I never said anything about how much I enjoy the sting after a good shave, thought I would be the odd-man-out. Now that I know there are others out there who enjoy it as well, I feel better now. Also, I discovered, er rather, concocted an after shave fragrance combo that I will be using and this is: my Rose scented hand cream for a balm layered with Brut after shave splash and the combo is so nice...floral but masculine.

I remember waiting in a doctor's office looking at a magazine and it had an ad with a guy standing in nasty weather with a raincoat holding a bottle of Listerine and saying, "I hate it, but I love it."

I can't say I like the sting but when I apply aftershave that stings my face feels better during the next shave. One day I used Arko Gel aftershave and there was no irritation whatsoever. A few hours later I took a bath and reapplied a standard alcohol-based aftershave and OUCH! There have got to be tiny nicks on your face you don't see while you're shaving, or it wouldn't sting. And your face feels better before the next shave because it has healed.

I'm a big fan of alum block. My preference though is to get absolutely no sting at all - telling me I had a great shave. When it does sting though I appreciate how it corrects me for the next shave.
