Thread: For you Shave Mask guys (and ladies)...

I've been using the AOS After-Shave Mask for about a year now and love the results, but hate the price. For 8 small bottles (I get 2 uses from one bottle) and at a price of $60 for the 8, the price per use is $3.75 per use.

So I decided to experiment with a homemade mask.

Using 2 TBSP of white Kaolin Clay, 1TBSP of liquid Vitamin E, 2 TBSP of distiller water and some essential oils, I created this mask and have been experimenting for two weeks with this mask.

The results...
My mask is a different consistency, but has been eliminating any shave burn and leaves my skin Baby Butt smooth, well moisturized and incredibly soft all day long. I've also noticed that the next day during my shave, my scruff is easier to shave off, with less irritation during the shave.

The cost of my mask is about $0.47 per use, not including the labor involved (about 20 minutes from start to finish). If you are a fan of masks, go ahead and try this, it's worth it.

I really like the masks also and found this place to have some wicked deals. At their price you could have a clay mask a day for a year for 4$ or so lol. They sell all forms of clay so depending on your skin type and frequency in use you can customize it in many ways.
