Thread: Facial scrubs

Good idea never thought to combine baking soda and liquid soap. I've thought about mixing it with a melt and pour soap

After getting involved with this post, I got to thinking about the face scrub I use. Last night I started looking for inexpensive and effective face scrubs to buy. I then starting thinking about homemade scrubs, since I like to make my own stuff at times. I saw baking soda scrubs listed in many DIY sites. A lot of the sites mentioned using lemon juice, but a user commented that she uses liquid soap, so I went down that route.

Ok yahoo answers says it is ok, in fact better than toothpaste. There is no flouride or sugar in it. It whitens teeth etc. The only downside is the additional salt you are intaking.
