Ace is to be applauded for doing this test. I certainly do not have the bravery needed to do such.

As to shaving in general, I shave everyday. The investment in time and money made to this hobby demands the use of the devices and disposable products. I probably have enough soaps and creams to last 10 or more years but bought a new cream (Truefit and Hill) today.

For shaving my face, I enjoy the entire process and I do what works for me and not what people say I should.

If Ace can make no preparation shaving work for him then my hat comes off to his expertise in doing what most would consider impossible or foolhardy.

We should be in a clinic for these diseases.

My symptoms point to a leather deficiency. I keep wanting more pieces of flat, thin hide to rub with steel. Being cleansed with little tubs of soap is not far behind.

Or at the very least a large outpatient clinic. One that has specialists for each area. As well as a treatment area for each. Large classrooms with shaving stations, honing stations ,stropping stations. We need to have our disorder recognized and get it funded for research purposes to find a cure or at least a way for all patients suffering to share their experience in a hands on focus group workshop. Yeah Yeah. Government funded of course WAY

Wait we all pay for ourselves and call it a MEET.

I think they are building a clinic meeting those specs in Memphis. Casa TCrideshd will be the name and should be finished next spring.
