Thread: To Wash or Not to Wash...

Olive oil soap. Then lather and shave.

I wet my face, then apply Cetaphil for gentle skin, and leave it on while I whip a lather in my scuttle. Once done rinse my face then apply lather. It works good for me, because I have roseaca!!!

Interesting thread. I usually only shave after a shower, and I wash my face while in there. I am actually going to try it the other way tomorrow.

I generally shower before shaving, i use a face scrub with exfoliating bits in it. Sometimes that is 10 or so hours previous if I shave in the morning as I shower before bed. Usually it is directly previous of within an hour or so.

I usually shave right after I shower before bed so my macs is clean before I shave.

I am a shower an wash face with facial cleanser before shaving. I tried the cold water thing an just didn't do it for me. The shower is part of the routine for me as I have a very dirty job an must shower at minimal once a day. Sometimes twice. Feel the hot shower an face wash gets me better prepared for a close shave. YMMV

I voted yes but really it is just because I usually shave after a shower .... but if I have a new razor in the mail I generally just ;ather and go after it is honed or is ready to go !! ..lol

I only shave after a shower and do wash my face with soap in the shower.

Before you do any work on anything you clean it thoroughly. No different with your face.
