Right now I'm using neutrogena sensitive skin razor defense face scrub before shaving as the directions say to do, it doesn't work well for me. I'm still razor burnt from yesterday.

Many facial scrub products contain salicylic acid to kill bacteria. My neutrogena product is a sensitive skin shaving cream. If the facial scrub is causing irritation I would stop using it. It's removing to much of the natural oils from your skin.

I got some grapeseed oil and I'm going to try it tomorrow when I shave. I'm giving my skin a few days to recover.
