Yes! I recall someone complaining about the lemony scent. I found it refreshing.
As per the instructions, a little bit goes a long way. Add water and it goes more. I started with a hot wet towel, held in place for half a minute. Smeared my almond sized blob across most of my left jawline, ran out before reaching the other ear. Not to worry because a damp (VDH boar) brush got that stuff all kinds of juicy and slick. In quick order I had face lathered up well. After first pass WTG, a swipe thru warm faucet drip brought more later up. Another WTG pass. Another add a little water and more lather appeared. Final XTG , but the brush still had lather to give. I don't blame Cremo for the irritation on my neck. That was me doing the fourth pass ATG with either my new to me FatBoy, or the Vintage straight that I'm learning to hone.
Long story shorter; I enjoyed Cremo. I'm glad I picked it at Wally World, & will buy more when it runs low. Or I hear about reformulation. YMMV? I'm not East or West Coast, I'm South Coast. Before water gets here, it's been through a lot of river.

Thanked: 3795I only have used it for travel when I don't even want to bother with a brush. The tube easily is packed in a small dop kit and so is quite convenient. I make the lather on my face just scrubbing with my hand. It makes a perfectly good serviceable lather that way.
I'll have to try it with a brush some time.

Gentlemen,
Cremo Cream is acceptable basic stuff. I tried it some years ago and then retired it. On the other hand, I keep a supply of Lady Cremo Cream on hand for my daughter for leg shaving, and she loves it.

Cremo is pretty much the first thing I gave a shot after growing up a bit and wanting to get rid of the cartridge and can. I will say it is slick and pretty much just wet hands will get that stuff goin. Odd but I really have nothing bad to say about it.

Cremo Cream is excellent for making Uberlather! A small dab of Cremo Cream, a brush loaded with your favorite soap, a few drops of Glycerin and a heated scuttle makes a ton of warm, slick, creamy rich Uberlather that soothes the face while leaving a clean, smooth irritation free shave.
