Thanked: 12Beard oil
I know this is a strange thing for a shave forum, but not sure where else to ask. Because it gets cold here in the winter(not so much this year) I grow a beard. A shaped beard so I am still shaving, just not the whole face. I am looking to make some beard oil. I am wondering if anybody has some good recipes. I can find tons on the net,but not sure if they are any good. Probably use as pre shave oil as well.

Thanked: 154Hi Red,
Not so strange a request - one can (and I do) use a straight razor to trim the outline of a beard. (I too am sporting a full beard this Winter.)
My beautiful wife got has recently gotten me interested in mixing up essential oil recipes after she started using them for aroma diffusers and skin care. Here's my favorite beard oil recipe:
Carrier oils:
1/3 oz. Sweet Almond
1/3 oz. Jojoba
1/3 oz. Camellia Seed
Essential oils:
6 drops Cedarwood
3 drops Sandalwood (Pricey, but worth it)
1 drop Spruce
Cheers,
