Default Udderly sMOOth Udder Cream as pre shave

I've used this stuff before as it is great on hands getting dry and on my face in places, but I thought I'd try it just BEFORE shaving. The stuff is pretty slick when you get it wet when it's on your hands. So, what I did was apply this cream to my face, and waited about 3 minutes. I did NOT rinse it off but merely worked up a lather an applied it over the already applied udder cream. Smooth! I wouldn't think it would make much of a difference but it gives me a soft velvety shave. Udder cream can be found at Wal-Mart, Dollar General and I have seen a pump bottle of it at Menard's the other day. If you want to cut down on razor drag quite a bit, it's worth a try. If all else, and you don't continue using it as a facial pre-shave, at least you have an excellent hand lotion for chapped and dry skin.

    What the stuff looks like:

I use the stuff in the little jar. Nice thing is you can even put it on after the shave for a velvety smooth face post shave.

And you can even shave your nipples with it! Hey, Gibbs... don't be surprised if people start latching on to you and sucking on your face!

I picked up a container of the creme after seeing it in the store and remembering this thread. I've used it for the past two shaves and it is everything you said and more. The blade rolled down the sides and neck with ease. The chin was half as easy as, the past 3 weeks.
I will be buying two more containers and storing them .
Thank you for this tip, Gibbs.

Only use it if you like udderly smooth shaves!! I use it every time as well.

I wanted to add that after my face is towel dried post shave, I like to put a little on as it is soothing for the skin even AFTER the shave. It will, somewhat, mask the Ogalla Bay Rum after shave, since it is a little light in smell. Other things, though, work well. Just wait a few minitues for Cologne and it will go on top of the Udder Cream applicaton and you'll smell great. Your face will feel great with this on it as an after shave lotion.

Here in the Netherlands udder cream is probably the best sold over the counter cream for human use. Many consider it a panacea for skin conditions.
