I think that they hold several towels. The physics of how the ultra violet works, I don't know. As far as putting a brush in there, maybe someone who owns one of these towel warmers can give it a go and report back.

Would be great to not have to fill the sink with water and just pull a hot setup out of this set to a timer every morning. Everything hot and clean.

I have 12 towels and I usually roll them up and put 3-5 of them in there at a time. If you roll them up it will hold around 10 barber towels. As far as the amount of heat produced, I usually turn this on when I go to bed and when I get up the towels are too hot to hold. However I have this in the kitchen so by the time I grab a towel and get to the bathroom with it it's almost perfect for putting on my face. However based on your personal preference for heat YMMV.

Just one technical detail...I don't see anywhere on the product description whether it's designed to hold WET hot towels...or just DRY hot towels.
OP, are you sure it's designed for holding wet towels?

    Use a crock pot.

It's designed to hold wet towels. It specifies in the instruction manual. There is a drip tray underneath it to catch an excess moisture just in case you get them too wet.

OK========I'll reply to this considering I have owned a towel warmer for quite some time. I keep a small plastic bottle with about 1/3 bleach 2/3 water. I drop a few drops into the sink that I use to soak the towels and ring out exsessive water. This stops the towels from getting funky if I turn the unit off. (or hang towels to dry) I also add a few drops of clubman to the steamer...

Small White shave towel in regular microwave @55 seconds.( Towel moistened with hot water before heating). Prepares the towel to the point you have to wait for 4 or 5 seconds before applied to the face.Repeat after towel has cooled X three. After second or third time depending on beard, you are ready to lather up and let her rip......

it is indeed the little things in life that make the biggest difference. I can not wait to get mine and feel the joy you have felt. BUT i do have one question for any one. does the quality of the water make any difference in any part of the shave? hard water, soft water, distilled water, purified water i.e. ( reverse osmosis, charcoal filtered).

Ive noticed after doing a hot towel from the tap my skin feels hot and loose but then after a couple seconds my skin starts tightening up and drying out. please any help here or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

I use my kid's bottle steamer to heat my towels sometimes. Does that make me a bad father?
