Thanked: 4I've found that the time spent preparing for a shave is very important. If time permits, and I have twenty minutes to soften my whiskers, my shave is incredible.
A shower is a nice way to soak up, but hot towels on the face is very relaxing....Of all the tools we buy-----Brushes, Razors, Stones, Scuttles, etc.... Why not buy ONE for the pre shave? This towel warmer cost me less than most pay for a brush. (or straight razor)
I'll post back later to see if this thing actually makes my preparation easier/ more enjoyable. I may find that the idea was a total waiste of time...Who knows. I may also find this to be the best part of my shave.......
I'll try almost anything once--twice if I like it.Last edited by yohimnbe2; 09-18-2011 at 07:36 AM.

Thanked: 9I look forward to hearing back about your experience!
You make a good point about the price. If your experience is good, it could be worth substituting out that one razor purchase for a warmer instead...

Thanked: 3indeed..good point about the price. Space is one thing that, at least for me, is an issue. Still, I'm curious how this turns out. Do let us know. A towel warmer may just be something worth putting on the wish list for later purchases.

Thanked: 4I finished a straight razor shave tonight after using my new warmer. It is worth every penny, each towel is piping hot (too hot to touch by hand, but faces love it) My first towel went on bare, and my second over a layer of lather.......
My home feels better than a barber shop.....After 15 minutes and 3 towels, I got my best straight razor shave yet....And a few moments of pure relaxation.....The hot towels wash all stress and day to day worries away..(along with whiskers)
Life is good

Thanked: 24Small White shave towel in regular microwave @55 seconds.( Towel moistened with hot water before heating). Prepares the towel to the point you have to wait for 4 or 5 seconds before applied to the face.Repeat after towel has cooled X three. After second or third time depending on beard, you are ready to lather up and let her rip......

Thanked: 0it is indeed the little things in life that make the biggest difference. I can not wait to get mine and feel the joy you have felt. BUT i do have one question for any one. does the quality of the water make any difference in any part of the shave? hard water, soft water, distilled water, purified water i.e. ( reverse osmosis, charcoal filtered).
Ive noticed after doing a hot towel from the tap my skin feels hot and loose but then after a couple seconds my skin starts tightening up and drying out. please any help here or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Thanked: 0Hey, Wow! That's pretty cool that you got yourself a towel warmer. The price kinda scares me, but so long as it lasts, I'm sure it will be worth it. I can only imagine how great it must feel! It says it can hold up to 12 towels, are you going to invite us all over ha ha.
Cheers!
