Thanked: 0Hi Guy's
Thank you all for your reply's
shaving when using oil is absolutely great!!
however, since the oil gets absorbed by your skin, you need to wet you face again, and again, and again......
so for practical reasons(Splashing all around the bathroom @6.30 AM),
I just bought a nice badger brush(Muhle) and some Dr HArris Arlington Soap.
together with my 4/8 Boker Starightrazor this will gavi me lots of fun!!

Thanked: 5I use shave sectret oil. I keep a cup full of hot water and brush in the shower while I am showering, and constantly change the water to keep it as hot as possible. I get out, dry off. Then dry my brush a little, and just put 5 drops of the shave secret on the brush, then swirl it in the soap for 5 seconds, then lather (I just lather on my face, havent figured out how to make it work in a bowl...). For me it works great. No oily mess, cleans righto off both the brush, razor and my face (by blood usually). Best thing, is after your first pass, if you dont want to relather splash your face with cold water real quick and its even smoother than with the lather on it.
