I got a sample of the Truefitt & Hill pre shave oil and it is the shiznit. It only takes a few drops and is light and has a great scent.
Downside: pricier than I can afford for a while so I'm using it sparingly.

Thanked: 79^^^ Once I find a good thing, I tend to stick with it, and this has been My One and Only for two years now. It agrees with my skin and makes the shave noticeably smoother. At $32 per little bottle, it is expensive, but the bottle seems to last forever, so I would say it's a very good per shave price ratio...

That seems to be the case with many wet shaving items, it seems like a huge investment upfront, but the product lasts a long time.
I paid 22 bucks for a tub of shaving cream that I like (AOS LAvender) and from what I can see, I expect to get about 6 months out of it, figure 4 bucks a month for the cream. Compared to the can of goo I used to use that was 6 bucks a can and lasted about a month and a half, so it's really not a bad deal

The only pre-shave oil I have tried is Shave Secret, but I quite like it! I love the clove and menthol smell, it's low price, and makes my shave just that much smoother. Great buy.
