Thanked: 0Anyone use ProShave brushless cream as a preshave?
In the NYC area all the barbershops use it for "straight razor" (now they can only use shavettes). I use it and find it superior to Proraso, which I like. And it is much, much cheaper in price. It contains lanolin, glycerin and method. About six bucks for a tub twice the size of a jar of Proraso.

Welcome to SRP! You wouldn't happen to be associated with ProShave, would you?

Thanked: 0No. I resemble that remark. Would you ask the sameof one who sang the praises of Proraso?

No, just a little joke. Only reason I asked is because your first post was promoting a product...so my apologies, my cynicism is showing
the welcome was genuine, however!

Thanked: 0Thank you. It's actually very good stuff and could easily be ordered from any barber or beauty supply vendor. It has a nice menthol affect which is enhanced when used with a hot towel. In fact, that's what the barbers use when providing a hot towel shave. It's also a good post shave product, like Proraso. I would attach a photo if I could figure out how to do so.
