Shower shower shower, what happened to.....

I see that most of the members here love to prep with a hot shower, but whatever happened to a hot towel and a face massage??? I find it preps my coarse hair a lot better than a shower. Anyone feel the same?

thats what i do every morning before my son wakes up. i dont have time for a shower and a shave... I sacrifice the shower until the evening. Though, even if i do shower i still do the hot towel thing, its more fun!

For some reason I stopped shaving after a shower and just lather and shave. Dont know what it it is but I like the shaves I get better from face lathering and going for it.

I usually (not always) shower but I always hot towel! Love the ritual of the nice hot towel on the face.

I use hot towel after shower. Of course, if there is no enough time, or if the shower was the night before, then I only apply hot towel and it works great. I apply towel afterwards as well, but it is cold towel then.

I used to hot towel before but changed to after shaving followed by cold water rinse.

I've tried hot towels to see if they made a difference, and they didn't. It is a nice ritual but one without any impact on my shave quality. I splash my face with warm water five times, lather quickly and shave. My results are fine.
