Great design - but isn't that a bowl rather than a scuttle?

Either way, it's a great looking piece.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Man - I am brain dead today lol! Yup! It's a bowl lol.

Can't change the title though - maybe a mod will for me!

    Thanks.

I can picture bowl #1 coming out of the kiln, partly flopped over, a potter going "oh bugger..." until he picked it up and thought "hang on a minute - that's bloody good!"

    That's hilarious!

I can't help but think what a great way to hold a bowl!

I hope someone here has, or has had one, and can give a little feedback! Its not that expensive...

I am thinking guinea pig here - you know, take one for the team lol.

I had one many years ago, it never occurred to me to put my thumb in the sag, I thought it was for the brush. It was heavy, and I got tired of the bowl telling me where the brush was supposed to go.

Those were originally made for drinking slurpies. You put the straw on the side. it should have a cover over the top.
