After a while, you forget the issues you had as a beginner and the solutions to those issues...
Oh, by no means am I a seasoned veteran of the straight shave world...

I simply meant that I thought that edhewitt had been using shave soap instead of shave cream (which, had I been reading more carefully, I would have caught), and maybe needed to mix his lather a bit wetter. Also, still being new myself (not quite 90 days in), it's super encouraging to me to hear successes that new straight shavers have.

I meant no offense and hope I didn't come off as a know-it-all... If I did, I certainly apologize.

I'm getting confused. I was just sort of supporting crouton by wanting to encourage him to continue to help others even though he said he was new to it all. I commenced MY post by saying I hope I didn't sound arrogant, because the Mentor tag thing is just an accident really; it doesn't mean I know a lot or anything; it's just because I was supposed to get off my bot bot and write a Wiki article.

Anyway, main point is everybody loves everybody :-)

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
