Its all biological. I ended up with the beard card. I started growing in facial hair at 14 and had a full beard by 16. Shaving had no influence as I would only shave for special occasions... Dances and such.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Perhaps shaving with a straight razor will get peoples testosterone levels higher!

Thanked: 270I'm afraid you have been drafted into the club of manhood and your time for shaving has come.
The good news is that you have found a site where you can have a much happier lifetime shaving experience than I did. Invest in a good double edge razor or a straight razor. I wished that I knew about those things when I was 17. As it turned out, I was in my mid-50s before I found a way to get consistently close, comfortable shaves.

Well, you could learn to shave with a DE or SE and move to a straight when your are more comfortable. Although, with the peach fuzz you describe I don't think you would have a hard time learning to use a straight. Those of us with coarse beards have to spend a fair amount of time on prep and edge maintenance. As of now, I don't see that for you. Read the Wiki and see what you think.

Thanked: 9Absolutely not. Shaving does not make you get more of a beard you getting older gives you more of a beard.
