Being a carer i cant have a shower and then lather and shave i have lots of other things to do before i can get to the sink to shave so i put olive oil on my face i am now shave ready even 20 minutes later.works well in the evening as a whisker softener if left on at least 1/2 hr then lather up useful if busy.Just works for me new to straight razor shaving getting better,A boxers gum guard might be useful for old guys to help shave top lip etc anybody with missing teeth used anything like that.tried my tongue not much help.
