Thread: speick as and colonge vs speick shaving cream

i am contemplating well i already bought the speick as and eau de colonge. i love the shaving cream in fact i bought another cream on the same order, but i was wondering how similar is the colonge and after shave lotion are to the shaving cream. i love the herbal, clean (almost medicinal) scent of the shaving cream. will i like the lotion (splash) and eau de colonge? how is the staying power? is it a scent that can become offensive or it mellows after a couple of minutes? i would love for it smell only when people are close to me but that the scent lingers for a couple of hours or more.

If you like the shaving cream you are probably going to love the a/s splash--it has the medicinal vibe to it. It smells great, and soothes even better. Now the not-so-great news. The Eau de Cologne doesnt smell like either. Its light, sweet and in my opinion, a little on the feminine side. I bought some and really don't like it. Give it a try though, you may.

Speick also makes an Eau de Toilette that I hear is fantastic--but seems impossible to get here in the U.S.

I already bought both and completely agree with you. Although the cologne becomes a bit more tolerable after 1-2 hours and you can actually smell some speick, but it is not a keeper. Now I have heard that there is an eau de tolitte that is closer to the a/s and shaving cream.

Can't find vendors in the US, and Euro vendors apparently can't ship here. Anybody got a source? I'd love some EdT!

Try west coast shaving; that is where I got mine.
