    Default Shiny Face

I've noticed after I use my aftershave (just some classic Old Spice I picked up at Wal-Mart) my face is extremely shiny.

Is there any way to possibly avoid this in the future?

I would try a different aftershave or even a toner.
I just started using Brave Soldier Code Blue and it is a really nice aftershave. The toner I have works pretty well too to make the skin nice but different toners can give you different results - especially when it comes to 'shineyness.'

If you really want to get into it, you can look at menessentials.com - very many reviews on different aftershaves and tones and all other products as well. Very nice site but goes mainly with the main stream brands that are normally more expensive than the CVS or Walgreens brands.

    Hope this helps.

I sometimes get this in the summer, my recommendation is Pinaud Talcum Powder. A few dashes in the hands then all over the face is all it takes.
    Good Luck,

I'm not sure if this is what Bear means by toner, but there is a face cream product with a bit of tint in that might be useful. Nothing over the top (you won't develop moobs ), just takes the shine off. Actually, you can get a similar thing in an SPF 30 sunscreen too over here.

I`ll also go with the old school barber solution -- talcum.

Pinaud Talcum Powder has been a staple of my morning rituals since I was 15. It's great everywhere. I highly recommend it!
