Thanked: 369BTW, the reason I know this, besides confirmation with the distributor of Dominica Bay Rum, is from first hand experience.
This past summer, I paid a visit to a spice plantation on the island of Grenada. On this island there are literally acres and acres of Carribean bay trees. I was able to take a whole branch of fresh bay leaves and crush them by the handfull under my nose.
For a bay rum fan it was like wading through ambrosia. The scent is unmistakable. If you like bay rum, and ever get a chance to sample fresh Carribean bay, don't pass it up.
