    Question A question

    What is the difference between EdT, cologne, and AS? Is it just the strength or is there something more?

    Eau de Toilette is supposed to have a higher percentage of fragrance compounds than Eau de Cologne. An aftershave will be lighter in fragrance than either one and in addition to the alcohol might have other ingredients to condition the skin like aloe, witch hazel, glycerin, sodium lactate, allantoin, etc. The purpose of an aftershave is to disinfect, refresh, soften, or moisturize the skin after shaving. The scent is not as lasting as that of a cologne or EdT.
