Thanked: 3Ogallala Bay Rum...ouch!
I ordered some Ogalalla Bay Rum a few weeks back and had quite the experience. For folks trying it for the first time, make sure you shake it. I smeared 100% oil on my face and would rather it been gasoline and a match. OUCH! I didn't like it. The next time, I shook it. I really like it now.

Thanked: 3In mine, their was an oily substance that separated out. When I tipped the bottle up, the oil ran to the bottom (spout end) and I poured 100% oil into my hand. By shaking, that oil is distributed. It really was bad.

Ogallala is a very loose mixture of oils and liquids. It separates after it sits for a minute or two. In order to get a good distribution of all the ingredients in it, you have to shake the hell out of it before you splash it on. Otherwise you're getting all the oils/fragrance and none of the witch hazel delivery.
