Default Wanting to make Bay rum aftershave

Who knows a good site to get Bay Rum Essential oil for making aftershave? Best site and most reasonable. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

The hardest part of making a proper homemade bay rum is finding to correct leaves "Pimenta racemosa" you can not use "Laurus Nobilis" bay tree used for cooking. They are two completely different leaves. You can use Pimenta racemosa essential oil in place of the leaves or a fragrance oil. Below is a link to a company I use to buy the fragrance oil. Unfortunately I cannot remember where I purchased the Pimenta racemosa essential oil but you can check on line.

I've also included a link on how to make bay rum aftershave.

There is also a recipe for using laurus Nobilis essential oil. This is not a proper Bay Rum but might be worth giving a try.

    Hope this helps

A man should only look in the mirror when he shaves.

I picked up a bottle at my local independent health food store. If you have one handy it might be worth a look.

Another source is Snowdrift farms. They specialize in folks wanting to make their own soaps and AS products.

I've found it's not as easy as it seems. You have to get the right blend and you need the right alcohol and depending on what you put in unless you want an ugly mess you need stabilizers.

Thank you all for your input I ordered from two different suppliers and am going to try two different recipes. I am hoping for a success out of the two.
