Default "Old formula" old spice scent match

So I've seen some debate on here about older versions of Old Spice smelling better than the current version.

I can't weigh in on this since I am so new to wet shaving, although I enjoy the Old Spice I have picked up. I found this site online for those gents who want to extend their last bits of a vintage formula.

These guys match and reproduce any scent!

check it out:Discontinued Perfume, Discontinued Fragrance, Discontinued Cologne

i think it's $60 for 3.5 oz, dropping to $40 for any subsequent reorders.

let me know what you think

$60 ? That's very steep and ironic, considering the original was a drugstore staple - and cost around $6..... LOL

I agree, I ran into the site when they were offering their version of a discontinues Aqua Velva Redwood. An interesting idea for hard to find scents, I thought it might be relevant since I read some threads last night debating Old Spice variants.

I don't think I would pay that for Old Spice. I did scoop a Ship's Bell Canadian version novelty bottle from 1973 at the Sally a bit ago. Better than the new stuff for sure.

You can still get the real original Shulton Old Spice from India for $9.45/100ml=3.38oz.

Check eBay too, I recently bought a vintage shulton bottle for the relatively high price of $20, but I figured I would give it a go. Does it have a shelf life?

$60? hahahahaha that's more than my Paul Sebastian !!!!! I'd rather experiment with my used cat litter and essential oils or get a new bottle for $5.00 than pay them $60 for an old formula of Old Spice
