My recipe for a pretty darned fine after shave balm.
Most balms I've tried leave my skin feeling a little greasy. This dissipates quickly and leaves your face feeling moist and nicely soothed. After some trial and error I've worked out this formula and am now prepared to introduce it to my fellow shavers.
Warm a bowl in hot water keeping the inside of the bowl dry
3 tablespoons Aloe n Lidocaine gel
1 tablespoon olive oil
2-3 drops lanolin
2-3 drops eucalyptus oil (I like the scent of eucalyptus. You can substitute lavender, rose oil, horsep00p, whatever you like...)
Witch Hazel added until proper consistency, about like moisturizing lotion)
Mix together in the hot bowl until combines
Decant into suitable capped container
So all you adventurous types, give it a spin and let me know what you think!!! Enjoy the exquisite taste sharpening sharpening taste exquisite smooth. Please taste the taste enough to ride cutlery.

I was using Baxter balm and another , then the buggers changed the formula.
Went back to the basic Nivea balm , cheap and widely availavble around the world. Search is still on for the "perfect" balm- dramatic hunt music starts ....
