D.R. Harris: Arlington VS. Windsor
Thinking of getting one of these but which to choose?
What's your impression of these two? Do they say "Old Money" or "Classic Scent"The light from the Stars in the Big Dipper took an entire lifetime to reach your eyes. For Astronomy, Shaving and Geekery follow me on twitter: @StevetheCanuck

I use Arlington shave cream, and it just says classic "enjoyable scent" to me. doesn't really linger beyond the shave since I don't use the any post shave scent. It's my favorite performing and smelling cream.

Both are awesome in soap an cream form. Love DR products. If I had to pick one it would be Windsor in soap. Very pleasant scent. Only way to describe it is like Harold said. "classy" classic an enjoyable. Does tend to hang around a little longer than Arlington I think.

I have those, and for me, it's Windsor hands down.
Arlington I find a bit sweet smelling, a bit flowery, but nice.
The Windsor, it's what you'd expect a Gentleman's Club to smell like in Victorian England. Or like a museum, very refined scent in my opinion. Hands down it's my favorite of the DR Harris and one of my top five soaps.

Can anyone comment on the strength and longevity of the aftershave and colognes?

I'm curious about that too.

Gentlemen,
D.R. Harris soaps are topnotch. I have both fragrances, Arlington and Windsor, and take each for what it is since fragrance preference is personal. To me, both have a traditional fragrance that I find quite pleasant.

While their scents are top notch, they have (at least in my experiences) zero longevity.

Arlington is my favorite aftershave by far. It goes on with very little sting followed by a nice cooling sensation. My wife can't get enough of the scent. Unfortunately it doesn't stick around much after a couple of hours. I'm thinking of getting the cologne.
