    Default Lanolin aftershave cream

    I know many a member here on SRP love a lanolin based soap/cream, so I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using 100% lanolin as an after shave cream/balm? My wife just gave birth to our baby boy and the Dr recommended using a 100% lanolin cream to combat the side affects of nursing, which led me to the question above. So, anyone use it or know of someone who does?

    I've tried it and it's awful. It's important to know that I'm one of those wetshave folks and have tried everything. Pure lanolin is much too thick to work well. Shea butter is thick but melts nicely and is a great natural solution.
