Wow, this thread sure has had a ton of posts. I guess most of us like the smell of Pinaud Clubman. I know I sure do.

About 25 years ago I joined a private athletic club. In the shower area they had bottles of Pinaud Clubman sitting on the counters next to razors they kept in the blue sanitizing solution. I never touched the razors and know a few guys that did and regretted it. But the Clubman became my go-to aftershave. I'd straight razor shave and drew quite a bit of attention at the club. Same as in college. You just don't see guys straight razor shaving in a public men's shower room that often. If ever. I never have and I used to hit all the private clubs coast to coast and in Hawaii that were Reciprocal clubs of the one I was a member of. I never saw anyone using a straight razor except me at any of these clubs, but many of them had Pinaud Clubman. It was a staple.

Sorry about all the background, but that's how I discovered Clubman. And yes, I have a bottle sitting on my shaving shelf at home. When do I use it? Once or twice a week. Not necessarily specific days. Whenever the mood strikes.

Today? It was Aqua Di Gio (got it for Christmas). It's not my favorite, but when you get a gift, you owe it to the gift-giver to actually use it.

Tomorrow? Clbuman for sure!
