Based on Hirlau's persistence, I yielded to the temptation to grab a bottle of Pinaud Clubman off the Rite Aid shelves yesterday. I shaved last night, with a superb razor loaned to me by a gentleman on the forum, and followed it with a small splash of my new acquisition.
It did take me back 40 years or so, when elderly Italian men cut my hair, but it did NOT make me regret switching to having attractive young women do my haircuts. The jury is out, because the smell (notice, not 'scent') had dissipated by the time my wife got home from work, but if she reacts to it the way she did to Bay Rum (asking if I had sprayed for ants), it will be donated to the giveaways.Just call me Harold

Thanked: 22Lol, the post above reminds me of an important point of distinction: unlike Harold, I generally disregard the wife-person's comments about my fragrances. Makes for a much more satisfying post-shave experience!

I don't know anything about those caps on top, as all mine are bare,,, I had to put corks in mine. Enjoy it,,, It's a great thing to see your Pinaud in a real bottle & not those plastic things of today.

I bought some Clubman this afternoon on a whim while killing a little time waiting to pick up my 4 year old grandson. I was buying scentless deodorant for work.....
He wrinkled his nose as I dabbed a spot on each cheek.
My wife said it was alright.
None for me tomorrow/Friday as I am headed off for a 5 day deer hunting weekend and I don't think that 4 legged deer will appreciate it!
