Here is a vintage Pinaud bottle sent by one of Pinaud's covert operatives currently assigned in the United States,,, code name Geezer; saved from the shelves of a small antique store out west. It was cleaned today & Citrus Musk was placed in it.
Today was a Citrus Musk day.

    Gentlemen,

Today was an evening shave and with the it ended in Special Reserve.

I finished my tub of omega soap too. A goodbye to a reliable product.. Pair that with a nice omega boar brush and a Swaty edge... Truly a "Special" shave this evening.

Hirlau, this bottle was originally known as a "cask" and in 1933 was redesigned into a more
angular shape and renamed "casket". The difference between the two is minimal.
Looking at yours it looks post-1933 but I really am guessing
Either way it is in minty condition and Agent Geezer is to be congratulated !!

Based on Hirlau's persistence, I yielded to the temptation to grab a bottle of Pinaud Clubman off the Rite Aid shelves yesterday. I shaved last night, with a superb razor loaned to me by a gentleman on the forum, and followed it with a small splash of my new acquisition.

It did take me back 40 years or so, when elderly Italian men cut my hair, but it did NOT make me regret switching to having attractive young women do my haircuts. The jury is out, because the smell (notice, not 'scent') had dissipated by the time my wife got home from work, but if she reacts to it the way she did to Bay Rum (asking if I had sprayed for ants), it will be donated to the giveaways.
    Just call me Harold

Harold,,, don't give up on the Pinaud Clubman if you don't like the scent,,,, try the Vanilla Pinaud,,, totally different scent & the wife might like it too.

Default No Where To Hide !

This Pinaud bottle secluded itself for years in a small town in Michigan. The effort was in vain; no bottle can hide from the Pinaud Syndicate. Once the operatives arrived at the safe house with the little bottle; it was cleaned, polished, water boarded with Virgin Island Bay Rum and corked !

It will now live it's life on display ,,,,,, for all you other Pinaud bottles out there trying to exist off the grid,,,,, There Is No Where To Hide !!!
