I went to buy some Bees today and it is near a shop I don't frequent.
Looking for a Pinaud bottle I had no luck but found a Pike Washita No.1 hone.
I really wish I could be obsessed with "one" thing or aspect.

So I blame John for this. I use CM almost every day now. My longtime barber uses it and it was always a treat. I dont know if there is a more refreshing, good smelling aftershave on earth.

I was at the local antique store down the block,,, about 3 miles,,, never found a bottle there, but a few good straights over the years. There is a metal file cabinet with doors on it that I never bothered to open; so open the doors I did,,, I saw about 40+ bottles lining panels inside. For a moment I couldn't breathe, most were Pinaud bottles!!! I grabbed the corner of the cabinet to hold on & fought to get my glasses out of my shirt pocket!!!
With my glasses on , they turned out to be steak sauce & medicine bottles,,, not one Pinaud.

This picture remind me of a lesson that I gave to my grandson.
I am sure it is very evident to most of us here.
When he asked why we needed to stop at the hardware store to buy a cork. [He didn't even know what a cork was.]
I told him that it plugged the hole in the top of the bottle so if it tipped over it didn't all spill out.
