Default Good Old Royal Bay Rhum...Anything like it out there?

When I was a kid in the 60's and 70's, my dad had a supply of Royal Bay Rhum he'd brought back from Bermuda on vacation. That stuff smelled like Heaven in a bottle. Big silver/pewter crown stopper and a nice bay leaf floating within. It was so incredibly rich, and once I started shaving I would periodically steal a bit for myself. Warm, but not burning, rich, incredibly complex. And the smell was simply otherworldly.

I understand a few years back the formula was changed significantly when the production was moved to the US, and not for the better. Royal Bay Rhum is apparently now a ghost of it's former self.

My question for the old timers: Is there any bay rum aftershave currently available that is close to the original Royal Bay Rhum? I've tried Captain's Choice, which I love, but for different reasons as it is in no way similar to the lovely green/brown stuff that flowed from that bottle of my dads.

I'm soliciting here for the closest available product to that good old original Royal Bay Rhum, and appreciate your suggestions.

    I welcome your opinions Friends.
!! Enjoy the exquisite taste sharpening sharpening taste exquisite smooth. Please taste the taste enough to ride cutlery.

Not sure when the move was made, the forumla changed, but I got some about 5 years ago and liked it very much. May have been the old stuff, maybe the new ........ dunno.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
