I can't stop...Thayer's Witch Hazel!
After seeing so many SOTD's with members using Thayer's Witch Hazel, I ordered two bottles to try - one with Aloe and Cucumber, the other with Aloe and Rose.
Now I have two bottle of the Thayer's Astringent AS on the way to try.
I've used it twice, the second time this morning, and I can't stop going downstairs and putting a little more on...it just feels so fantastic on the skin, warms the skin, seems to really do some good things, first time I used it, my skin felt great, moisturized, refreshed.
While I really like the alum block, it would leave the skin very dry...the Thayer's is just very refreshing and soothing.
So how many use Thayer's and what do you like about it...

I like Thayer's because it doesn't have the weird smell other brands have.
It's also versatile. I use it as a an aftershave and for face washing.

Thayers is lovely stuff. For years, I have used the Thayers Super Medicated witch Hazel with Aloe Vera. Good stuff, this.

Thanked: 2284Phrank, I'm also in the same boat you were. I keep seeing all these guys using this stuff and ha e thought maybe I should try it. Must be good if so many use it. Did you order from a site here in Canada or did it come from somewhere else? I think it's time to dip my toes.

I went to Amazon Canada, found it no problem and it got here fairly quickly.
Then of course saw the Thayer's in another SOTD, and this was Thayer's with Witch Hazel and aloe, ASTRINGENT AS, LOL, so went back and ordered two bottles of that.
So do a search on Amazon Canada, get a bottle of the Thayer's AS and a bottle of the Thayer's Toner...so far, the toner is awesome, can't wait to try the AS.
Sheesh - thanks Obie , now I'll have to get a bottle of the Thayer's super medicated after I try the AS...lots of different stuff...so far, the toner is great.

Thanked: 2284I have major problems with dry skin, and it's even worse in the winter. I like the sounds of this stuff.

Thanked: 443I love the cucumber/aloe one. It has no alcohol. In the U.S. you can consistently find it at the GNC stores; other folks might not include it in their lineup.
I've got one of their sample-size bottles, and I mix about 1 cm depth of glycerine with enough cucumber/aloe to fill the bottle. That makes it extra-nice in the high-desert air I live in.
For an extra frisson, store your bottle in the fridge and spash it on cold. Aaaahhhh!"These aren't the droids you're looking for." "These aren't the droids we're looking for." "He can go about his business." "You can go about your business."
