It's not a particularly strong rose scent Ed, but nice; and a very good cream as far as the lather qualities goes. I got mine from Himage here in Australia.

I can't say I have tried others, but if the vendor only has Geo F Trumper Rose, don't hesitate to try it.

I have tried trumpers violet cream, nice but i get a slightly uncomfortable tingle when using it. I also have the eucaris soap, though their soaps were getting bad reports i dont think it is tht bad, possibly not worth the asking price though.

I have never really been a fan until I tried the rose - so I hear you. Note too, I am a cream guy.

I love the tubes! I sqirt it directly into a presoaked brush... Lather on the face - Bob's your uncle. Its the sent I love most. Do you like the sent at least?

Yes, i like the violet scent, it just irritates me slightly, not enough to not use the tube up though. The eucaris smells nice too
