where to buy?
I had a little trouble in central Florida too.
They don't keep it in the aftershave section, its in the little Spanish homeopathic section.
Like home remedies.
I think it took me 25 mins to find it but it was only $1.99!
Try asking for Superior 70 Alcoholado a base de malagueta
al-coe-hoe-la-doe ahh bah-say day mah-la-gwetta
Hey, it could be worse!
You could be a English only speaking Native American mistaken for a Latino due to your brown skin. Make you want to die after a few months.

Thanked: 1Maybe you would know?
In boots (a pharmacy chain over here) they sell bay rum, only on the package it says scalp treatment and instructs one to massage into the scalp.
Is this the same stuff with a different application?
Is bay rum just bay rum with different uses or is it just a fragrance added to different formulations?

well then
To be perfectly honest I have no idea.
I just went looking for this stuff because I had been making mine from leaves off of a bay magnolia tree in the woods at my friends house and wanted to see if the smell was different.
I have been making mine with leaves and rum, although I think I will try other liquors next time. Maybe tequila.
I would say however that if you can put it on your head then I'm sure it will work on your face.
How much is it?
I checked the label on the Superior stuff and the only ingredient it lists is SD alcohol 65%.
It has a rich, spicy smell and lasts about 2 hours or less unless you take a bath in it.
It does however come back a little if you splash a little water on your face after a while or if you sweat a lot.
I rather like it to keep my body armor smelling nice.
12 hour shifts in the Florida heat with a vest on can REALLY make you sweat!
BTW the Pinaud Clubman smells nothing like bay rum.
